Canny Projects Add Sophistication to Geelong’s Corio Bay

Darryn Lyons has pointed to the early success of these community-minded projects as a sign the “city by the bay is open for business”, while Geelong Planning Authority chairman Peter Dorling said he believed bookending the foreshore with Balmoral Quay would be the icing on the cake to ensure future livability with “quality development and quality investment”.

Geelong – The Future

With Balmoral Quay, it’s obvious that the future of Geelong is destined for great things. Minster for Environment Lisa Neville lauded the creation of jobs and renewal of the site, stating that “Promoting new jobs, housing, and economic activity for the community is a no-brainer.”
