Pool House Designs – a teenager’s retreat

Our clients came to us looking for a swimming pool that integrates well with the alfresco area of the home along with options for pool house designs. They wanted the pool to be a feature of the backyard with views of it from the main living area and outdoor entertaining space.

The clients were not only looking for a pool they could relax in all year round, they wanted to add some additional private space for their teenage children. Our Integrated Pools team worked with them to achieve this by creating a ‘teenage retreat’ pool house which is not only a great place for the kids to entertain friends, it also extends the indoor/outdoor feel of the yard creating separate zoned living spaces which was an important consideration in the overall layout.

This fully tiled swimming pool is 9.5m x 5m with a generous sized corner spa, great for entertaining guests. The bluestone surrounds of the pool area complement the stunning rock work and marry in beautifully with the casual traditional feel of the home. We even added a bluestone raised wall along one side of the pool which features stainless steel water spouts to give a soothing effect of falling water.
